The purpose of the Kentucky Memory Quilts are to raise
awareness and to help prevent suicide by putting a face to the
over 500 lives that are lost to suicide
annually in Kentucky.
Kentucky Memory Quilts help send the message that
suicide is about individuals and families, not statistics.
If you are a Survivor, please consider sending us a
picture of your love one that can be placed on a Memory Quilt.
(See the Picture Below)
If you are a Quilter, please
consider donating your time and talents to make a Kentucky
Memory Quilt. We have received and continue to accept
donations
to pay for the materials / supplies you will use to
make the quilt. We will also get to you the survivors love
one's pictures. Please email us at
QPR@bellsouth.net
and let us know that you are willing to help with a Kentucky
Memory Quilt.
Kentucky Memory Quilts
will be used to support the work of the Kentucky Suicide
Prevention Group and other Kentucky groups that are bringing an
Awareness and Prevention to Suicide.
Financial gifts to help pay for the materials
required for a Memory Quilt are welcomed and needed.

If you are a survivor, we are
very sorry for your loss. As survivors ourselves, we know that
each of us must find our own way down this horrible road we are
on. If you don't feel that now is the time
for you to send a picture, that is OK. When you feel ready
to do so, we will be here.
To all others, we thank God every day that you care
and are wanting and willing to bring awareness and prevention to
this horrible disease called Suicide.
For us at NAEF, we know that working together, we
can save Kentucky lives.
